General Policies

Additional Fees:

  • Holiday Visits: There is an additional $10 fee per household per day (not per appointment). Holidays Include: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Easter. (We don’t operate on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day)

  • Three or More Dogs: We stand out from other dog walkers by offering to walk two household dogs at no additional fee! However, for households with more than two dogs, a fee of $5 per additional dog will apply

Medication:

All our team members will administer medication (pills, drops, supplements) at no charge to you. Please note that we cannot administer medication to any animal that poses a danger to our team. Thanks for your understanding!

Cancellations:

Life doesn’t always go as we planned, and we understand schedules sometimes change. If you must cancel, we respectfully request at least 48 hours’ notice for adjustments to your appointments and for cancellations. Failure to cancel prior to 48 hours will result in a 50% charge of appointment. Any visit canceled after 5PM the night before service is considered a same-day cancelation. Same day cancellations will be charged 100%.

Snow Days: We allow same day cancellations for snow days.

Aggression:

We require notification of any aggressive history and reserve the right to refuse services if we deem your pet as aggressive to the point of hurting itself, or the pet care specialist. If your pet is unable to be safely controlled and the service provider is bitten, the pet owner is responsible for any/all hospitalization bills that may arise.

Off Leash Adventures

Common Dog Park Expectations:

While there is no such thing as a guaranteed risk-free dog park trip, we do everything in our power to keep everyone safe.

Off-Leash Trip Requirements:

We are committed to providing the safest and healthiest possible environment for your dog as well as other dogs. Some dogs may be a better fit for our private dog-walking service or on leash adventures. For this reason, we must ask that dogs exhibiting any of the below qualities stay behind on off-leash trips:

  • If your dog is overly reactive, timid, or aggressive to unfamiliar people and dogs.

  • If your dog has poor recall.

  • If your dog is ill or has parasites.

  • If your puppy is less than 4 months old and/or has not received necessary vaccinations.

  • If your dog is more than 6 months old and has not been neutered/spayed.

Once the necessary precautions are in place, it’s time to let the playtime fun begin!
